Lazy sunday morning. Changing the name of my blog from Writer's Notebook to joywriting...more in the spirit of what I love to do, catch images in my journal using words and scotch magic tape. Just jotted down a quote in the car, "I want my poems to be wiser than I am, to know more about themselves than I do." John Hollander (quoted by Garrison Keillor in Writer's Almanac). I'm shifting this for myself to "I want my chapters..."
Now Monday Nov. 3 Because! I'm more likely to write chapters than poems. And until OBAMA is president! I can barely write anything.
Woke up in the night with the words "HOW CAN I HELP" rushing through my head, a new tack for me, and these words calmed me, a new tack away from myself, even if this blog is about my world...
